Danellie Lynas

University of Queensland

Danellie Lynas is a Research Fellow at the Minerals Industry Safety and Health Centre at the University of Queensland. Danellie’s work focusses on identification of human factors and health related indicators impacting on worker safety and development and implementation of proactive intervention strategies. Research projects have related to uptake of automation and new technologies in the mining industry, human centred design for diversity and inclusivity in mining equipment and interface design, and development of the whole-body vibration application WBV for workplace management of vibration exposures. She holds a PhD, a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Masters of Ergonomics and Human Factors.
