Mussa Lisso

Mussa is a PhD candidate at the Sustainable Minerals Institute’s Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC), at the University of Queensland. His research focuses on understanding and modelling the performance of semi-inverted hydrocyclones to improve classification efficiency.

Mussa holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. He has over 10 years of experience in the mineral processing industry which spans various commodities including precious metals, base metals, and diamonds, in Africa as well as Australia.

Mussa previously worked as a Senior Scientific Officer for the Centre for Minerals Research (CMR) in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Cape Town focusing on benchmarking and optimising comminution and classification circuits.
