Dr. Bayantur Bat-Ochir,
Mongolian mining technology researcher, mining engineer. He has more than 30 years of research experience in Mongolian mining projects. Feasibility studies and technical projects were developed for open and underground mining of feldspar, copper, and gold under his directions. In 1992, he received his Ph.D. degree at the Moscow Institute of Geology and Exploration on the topic of optimization of open pit mining technology on Mongolian feldspar deposits. He also worked in the mining department for more than 10 years and participated in the development of mineral laws and regulations. In recent years, he has been working on uranium projects and conducting research in the field of underground leaching. He is also working on technical reform of open pit mining and ecological issues. Since 2020, he has been working as the Vice President in charge of research work at the Mongolian Academy of Mining Sciences.
