Dr Jun Wang is Head of Research of Kurloo Technology. Dr Jun Wang leads his dedicated research and development efforts to the firm and leverages his intellect and knowledge to serve the Surveying and GNSS community. He has extensive experience in geodetic and geotechnical monitoring techniques, GNSS, laser scanning and UAV. Jun graduates from Queensland University of Technology with a Doctor Degree in Computer Science and was awarded the Siganto Foundation Medal in 2013. He has demonstrated his capacity to develop cross-disciplinary research programs and establish collaborations with government, academic and industry partners through various projects. Jun and his team have won twice Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards (APSEA) for Innovation-Small business in 2021 and 2022. Jun is also awarded National APSEA for Future Leader of the Year in 2022.Jun is a active member of Geospatial Council of Australia and convenor of Space, Spatial and Surveying Diversity Leadership Network.
