Theodorore Vlachos

Theodore Vlachos has managerial experience in mining operations, renewable energy resources, human resources management and risk management.

Prior to his current position, he worked as Exploitation Engineer, Market Relations Manager, Human Resources Director and Senior Expert for Public Power Corporation’s Group. He has also served as member of the BoD of Invest in Greece S.A, as a CEO of the Institute of Vocational Education and Training of Technical Chamber of Greece S.A.

He is now Director of Lignite Centre of Megalopolis Department of Public Power Corporation S.a

He has also a longstanding experience as a developer, auditor, trainer and instructor in management systems mainly in quality management, health & safety management, energy management, environmental management and business continuity management. He has developed management systems of the aforementioned disciplines for Public Power Corporation’s mines business unit, supply business unit and energy trading department. He has also conducted third party audits in a large number of Greek companies.

He holds a Master in Engineering degree (Mining & Metallurgy) from National Technical University of Athens and a Henley MBA degree.

He also holds professional qualifications in risk management and business continuity management.
