Steve leads Resourcing Decarbonisation Program at the Sustainable Minerals Institute. This transdisciplinary program is tackling the role and challenges faced by the resources sector in helping society achieve Net Zero. Steven is also a qualified drone pilot, has established key research infrastructure and served as Discovery Manager for Anglo America in undercover environments. His career has involved in the application of geoscience principles and innovative technologies across the mining value chain. Selected live projects include developing a digital twin of Queensland’s minerals geoscience data, and drone sensing and mapping infrastructure for the minerals industry.
